Monson Road Festive Fortnight Page!
Not to be opened before Christmas
Welcome back to Monson Road
for a special Festive Fortnight
Edition!

Here in Britain we like to maximise the
time off work at Christmas and any
excuse to shut the Country down for a
whole two weeks tends to go down
well with the average British Joe Public.

Although normally a workaholic, my
firm has insisted that I use up all my
annual leave by New Year, so it's
goodbye workplace for a whole 2
weeks.

Elaine is also blessed with time off as
being a primary school Teacher - I
think that this year, they have managed
to spin the Christmas holiday out to a
full 3 weeks.

Last Update - Christmas Eve
(24/12/00)
So in this added bonus 2 weeks off we
have a kitchen extension to plan, a wind
generator to build and erect and a whole
lot of eating, drinking and watching TV
to do. We have just got a new TV aerial
- so for the first time in 10 years - have
an A1 picture!

So in the want of anything better to say,
I will leave you with a couple of
Seasonal pictures taken on December
26th 1983 depicting a couple of rather
snowy views of our one time Family
Home on the Isle of Man.

For all of you reading this in North
Dakota, you may wish to add another
30 feet of snow to make the scenes a
little more realistic.

Happy Christmas - from Ken & Elaine.
