How Cute can You Get?
Monty - The Monson Road Cat

Montagu Ratbag Boak is a small
black furry catpuss who has
recently come to live in Monson
Road.

He is all-black apart from a small
white fleck on his chest and is only
4 months old. (In Sept 2000).

He was bought from a very nice
lady who lives in Montagu
Gardens, Wallington and was thus
christened Monty.

Female visitors to Monson Road
are advised not to wear tights - but
it's OK for blokes I suppose.

Monty now has his own web page
- click his furry butt to access
About The Author

Ken Boak is not well known for his
Web-publishing skills, in fact this site
is his first attempt.

Although once the proud owner of a
full head of hair, many of the follicles
have long since departed.

This photo was taken, one relaxed
afternoon in 1996 before the hair left.

The 5o'clock shadow suggests that it
was a weekend and that I had
missed my early morning
appointment with Messrs. Gillette
and Wilkinson.

Ken is a homo-sapien and lives in
Surrey with his wife Elaine.
Elaine at her Graduation in 1996.

She'll kill me when she finds out
how to access this site.............

Elaine teaches a very small class of
6 and 7 year olds in a local school.

Her workload has much reduced
since we worked out how to get the
computer to self-generate end of
term reports.

Elaine  has a large tattoo on her
neck in the shape of a cockroach -
or is it just time to clean the glass on
the scanner?

Elaine is a child of the 60's (he said
- craftily not revealing her age) but
cannot remember where she was
when President Kennedy was shot.

Elaine has worked for an
electronics multinational component
suppy company before taking a
teaching degree in 1991.

Elaine graduated in 1996 and has
taught for 6 years at a local primary
school.

Elaine likes to read and relax when
she can - almost all of the time!

Man and North Wales.

Career: Electronic Engineer

Dislikes:  Kitchen fitters that mess
you about for 6 weeks.
For those who are unsure............

Flying is just a matter of throwing
yourself at the ground and missing.

This photo was taken in September
1994 on a weekend visit to
Edinburgh with Elaine and a couple
of good mates, Paddy and Adrian..

The green lumpy stuff behind me is in
fact the Pentland hills just to the
south of Edinburgh and the blue
wishy-washy stuff with white fluffy
bits is what's left of the ozone layer.

The Wright brothers achieved
powered flight in 1903 at Kittyhawk,
Paddy, Adie and I, completely failed
in 1994 - but it was a good laugh
trying.
